Irvine, CA; August 3, 2010 – Woodbury Medical Group, providing Irvine area residents with primary and urgent care, today has announced that it is now utilizing its Facebook page to notify patients of the current urgent care wait times.
According to Marie Lee, Woodbury Medical Group Office Manager, “We know there are times when patients think about coming in to the office for urgent care but they often do not feel well and the thought of a long wait may dissuade people from seeking the care they need. By showing current wait times on our Facebook page, we hope people will be more likely to come in when they see wait times are low. In a medical system where patients often feel a doctor’s time is treated as more valuable than their own, we hope to show our patient s that they come first.”
The current urgent care wait times are updates approximately every hour.
